Dr. Coree Levy  is a Doctor of Chiropractic, who specializes in Sports Medicine, Functional Medicine, and Nutrition.  Before attending chiropractic school, Dr. Levy worked for over a decade as a senior research scientist and educator in behavioral neuroscience, studying neuropsychiatric diseases as well as drug and alcohol dependence and withdrawal in the Molecular and Integrative Neuroscience Department (M.I.N.D.) at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California.  Motivated with a desire to empower and heal others, and after a personal experience that demonstrated the limits and failures of the established allopathic medical system, Dr. Levy courageously left her prestigious career in research, and enrolled at the Southern California University of Health Sciences Doctorate of Chiropractic program.  Besides obtaining the highly coveted position as a chiropractic intern at the USC Engemann Health Center, she also graduated on the Dean’s List of Academic Excellence, and received the highest honor, The President’s Leadership Award.  Dr. Levy has gone above and beyond her chiropractic prospectus, by attending numerous educational seminars, allowing her to further her education in sports medicine, functional medicine, and nutrition.  Dr. Levy’s personal and professional vision is to empower her patients to lead healthy and fulfilling lives without dependence on pharmaceutical medications and surgical procedures.  She believes that if we truly listen to our bodies, we can all heal naturally. Dr. Levy currently has a private practice in Beverly Hills, California, where she sees a wide variety of patients, including children, soccer moms, professional athletes, and geriatrics, though she spends the majority of her time as the Attending Chiropractic Clinician at the USC Engemann Health Center.  Doctor Levy is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner, and is currently finishing her Diplomate in Sports Medicine, and her certification as a Primary Spine Practitioner.  In her free time,  Dr. Levy acts as the official doctor for the USC Equestrian Team,  the USC Women’s Rugby Team, and is the Attending Clinician for the USC Dental School’s Ergonomic Club, in addition to being part of the U.S. Olympic Fencing Team’s Research Committee. 

Dr. Levy has over 10 years experience working in emergency medicine, and has certifications including First Aid and CPR for the Medical Professional, Emergency Medical Technician, Diver Medic Technician, Hyperbaric Chamber Operations and Emergency Diving Accident Management. She has numerous scientific publications, and is currently pursuing additional research projects.
